PhilipRelph Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Hello, I am a relatively light user of Autocad and have a problem with a customers drawing that I hope someone may be able to help me with. The customer has sent me a dxf file of a component that has the customers logo cut out of a stainless steel plate. The problem is that the letters are faceted (as are the holes) and are not round as per the component he is getting manufactured elsewhere. I have attached a screenshot that shows the C of the logo - this should be nicely curved. Is this something I am doing that is causing the issue ?cad issue.doc Can someone advise how I can resolve this issue ? Quote
ReMark Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Is the letter comprised of separate line segments? If so can you use PEDIT and either the Curve Fit or Spline option? Quote
