Npalmitessa Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 my coworker next to me has been complaining all morning that auto cad is so different since the IT department updated him to 2013. i have quickly and easily solved most of his issues (almost all simple cui issues) yet for some reason i cannot find the solution to this one issue he is complaining about. he wants the command line box at the bottom of the screen to show two lines of the command history, but not the bar along the bottom for new commands. i have only been able to find an answer that hides the entire command line. neophoible Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 he wants the command line box at the bottom of the screen to show two lines of the command history, but not the bar along the bottom for new commands. OK, you’ve piqued my curiosity. Just how was this feat accomplished in prior releases? Quote
Npalmitessa Posted December 31, 2012 Author Posted December 31, 2012 well, i just asked him to open the previous version that was still on his computer and much to my surprise it looks like the difference in default font sizes made him think that it was different. he had the command line and command history shown on his previous version of autocad. i apologize for wasting your time, i should have verified that he was unable to do this in the past and was simply mistaken at what he saw. neophoible Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Ahh, human perception is a very interesting phenomenon. It’s very easy for us to miss details, and the big picture! Go figure. Mistakes are an inevitable part of life, there is always something new to learn, etc. Anyway, glad you figured it out. I imagine it wasted your time a lot more than it did anyone else’s. It’s nice to know that at least this wasn’t a problem in 2013! Quote
