Tyke
Does anybody know if its possible to convert a spline into either a 2D polyline or 3D polyline? I tried exploding the spline, but nothing happens. It seems that when a spline has been created it remains a spline forever.

CarlB
Many posts on this topic, try a search of this site. Express Tools "flatten" is one way.
feri
Try www.bereczky.me/dxforigin/ There is an option to convert splines to polylines. You must have Java installed.
rkent
In 2011, Splinedit command, Convert to pline option. Or select and right click. If the spline has various Z coordinates it will be converted into a 3dpolyline which can be exploded to lines. PLINECONVERTMODE, 1 = arcs, 0 = lines Edited October 27, 2010 by rkent
