Larry Christie
I am using Autocad LT 2015 and was wondering if there is a way to edit differant blocks in the block editor without having to save and close prior to opening another block
ReMark
I think if that were an option it would a dangerous one.
nestly
As far as I know, the block editor can only manage one block at a time per AutoCAD session.
steven-g
You can't edit 2 blocks at the same time unless you open another instance of Autocad, and then obviously you can't have the same drawing open in both and expect to save any changes. If you are just wanting to save a bit of time then in the top left hand corner of the block editor one of the icons is "edit or create block definition" this will ask you to save the current open block and take you straight to the open block dialogue box.
