AQucsaiJr
I realize ACAD-E has a project manager that can cycle through a folder full of drawings searching for items within each drawing. Anyone know if this function can be used as a type of batch open program for running a LISP or Script in each of the drawings? Or even a text find and replace for all the files withing the project folder?
MFish
Yes there is a way to run a custom script file on each drawing with in a project. Here is how... You can either type AEUTILITIES at the command line or you can go to the project manager button... Hold down the button until you get the extra options and go to the one labeled PROJECT-WIDE UTILITIES. This will bring up a dialog box. In there you'll find on the ride side third box down labeled "For Each Drawing" you can load in your custom script and then it will prompt you to select which drawings you would prefer to edit.
