dtaylor
So I don't have a lot of experience with autocad. I'm using 2011. I'm drawing a boat mooring in 3d. I have polar tracking on. Something annoying happens with my cursor. In any view, the cursor insists on aligning itself with the angled face of the mooring. how do i get it to stop doing this? It doesn't happen when I'm not about to place anything, but only happens when i want to place a line or such. thanks
ReMark
Try disabling the Dynamic UCS. There should be an icon for it in the System Tray at the bottom left-hand side of your screen.

dtaylor
How come it automatically re-enables itself sometimes?
ReMark
You'll have to ask someone who is way smarter than I am. I did not do the programming. Yikes!
