But right now I only have 8 sides with materials. I'd like to copy by instance those 8 since the materials are aligned just like I want. Is it possible to copy polygons to other polygons by instance? stormist Posted July 8, 2012 Author Share Posted July 8, 2012 I ended up solving it by separating the individual faces then making the side part of the cylinder the parent object. This allowed me to import it into Unity 3d, my preferred game engine, and manipulate the face materials individually. Thanks for your reply.
