rocad Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 We recently got new computers and after installing ACLT the file>open dialog box defaults to preview. I'd prefer that it default to list. I can pick view>list and it changes but it defaults back to preview. Is there a way to change this? Quote
cedwards Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I would be willing to bet since it's a new computer it's not autocad it's how you have folders set up on your machine. To change the default view to "list"(I prefer details) you need to do it outside autocad. 1.) Open any folder in windows 2.) Change view to list: View--->List 3.) Now we need to apply to all folders: Tools--->Folder Options--->Click on View Tab---->Apply to all folders This should fix autocad and sit your default view to "list". Quote
rocad Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 I tried this but it didn't fix it. AutoCad is the only application that is doing this. I've looked everywhere in AutoCad for a place to change the default but so far I've had no luck. Quote
Tankman Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I tried this but it didn't fix it. AutoCad is the only application that is doing this. I've looked everywhere in AutoCad for a place to change the default but so far I've had no luck. Mine is showing up fine, vs. '05, however, does anyone know how to get the COMMENTS showing in the list files, in AutoCAD. I have COMMENTS showing when I list files usin' Windows XP Pro by default.
