rlcad
When I try to insert text in a Table's cell, sometimes I need the second line to be centered; but the Alignment buttons (Center, Left, Right, Justify etc) are inactive. What is the problem? Thanks.
Dadgad
Is the cell format locked?
SunnyTurtle
Text alignment is not a option for a table cell. But you can change it via Justification while entering text. or by the "Cell Styles" Tab in the Table Cell menu or by the properties window with a cell selected. Tables are a little bit tricky to get a hang of at first but keep persevering

I've tried the solutions. Justification moves the whole text. My cell has two lines: one that has to be justified left, and the 2nd, that has to be centered. Justification moves both of them to the center. Also, I can't even press Enter to go to the next line; or Tab.
SunnyTurtle
I've tried the solutions. Justification moves the whole text. My cell has two lines: one that has to be justified left, and the 2nd, that has to be centered. I see i cannot see a way to do that ether. I think the only way you can get around this is to create 2 cells and remove the border between them. (not perfect but with a bit of fiddling you can make it look as if you had 1 cell.) Also, I can't even press Enter to go to the next line; or Tab. In tables Enter is used to go to next row Tab is used to go to next column To go to next line you need Alt+Enter Edited March 21, 2017 by SunnyTurtle Addition
