gotchy
Hello all, Can someone here give me the path to change the background color of AutoCAD 2017? Right now my drawing space is set to black and I would prefer it to be white. I am accustomed to v 2000, where it was fairly easy. A 17 year jump is a bit too much for me I suppose. Thanking you in advance, Gotchy
ccowgill
Options->display tab. On left column is colors button. click it and change what ever properties are available
gotchy
ccowgill, Thanks for your response, I have no tool bar at top with Options included. All I have at top is Start, Drawing 1, Drawing 2, Drawing 3. What do I need to do to have a tool bar displayed? Gotchy
ccowgill
Sorry about that. type in options at the command line
ccowgill
It may also be available if you click on the big red a in the top left. Sorry I'm a keyboarder. I don't know the menus or toolbars very well

Cad64
Or simply right click anywhere on screen and choose options from the pop up menu. That's what I usually do.
Dana W
Or simply right click anywhere on screen and choose options from the pop up menu. That's what I usually do. Ironically one may then turn off the right click menu.
