    Default IDW lineweight

    I need to change the lineweight in this drawing. Please help.

    its sadly a pain in inventor but you can do it. Ideally you would do it with layers/styles but this has never been great for me. You can select an edge in the drawing view. Right-click and go to "Properties" To make this easier first hold down SHIFT, right click and set the selection to "Part Priority" so you don't have to manually select all edges. The properties will automatically have "By Layer" selected, deselect that and change the lineweight to what you want. Hopefully that works. This is a common gripe in Inventor. Hopefully JD Mather will chime in as he has been with Inventor for longer than I have.
