mattador04
I am frustrated as can be, since i've placed two parts into an IAM file, and there has to be like 5000000000000 inches between the parts, because i can "find in window" the parts one at a time, but THEY ARE NOWHERE NEAR EACHOTHER PLEASE HELP

ballsdeep89
The answer to your problem is this: 1. located the ipt in your model tree 2. right click the ipt file and select iproperties 3. click on the occurances tab (second to last) 4. change the x y and z values to 0. You're ultimately changing the UCS location where the file is inserted. Typically, I insert my first part (weather its an engine block, trans, whatever) and "0" that part. Next I ground that part so it'll never move, and finally constrain all other parts to it.

Cad64
I have edited your post to remove the profanity. We do not tolerate that sort of language on this forum, as I mentioned in your other post in the chat section.
