koolinour
hi, I have an autocad file which takes too much time to open. I've done a dxfout, then save this last one into a DWG which I recovered and purged; the size have been reduced considerably. But still I have the same problem; it takes too much time to open. ReMark
Odd choice of forums to post your question in. The only thing I can suggest is that if this is a legit question to upload a copy of the drawing to a file sharing website like DropBox then post a link to it here. Anyone who is interested in taking a shot at reducing the file size can do so and report back their results.
RobDraw
Sorry but this feels like one of those questions that lead to a response that links to a nefarious website claiming to be able to fix corrupt .dwgs. We get them quite a bit here. If this is a legitimate question, please provide the current file size, the file size before doing the DXFOUT, and the source of the file, i.e. from a consultant, a website, or internally generated. Some more information about your workflow might also help in diagnosing.
