Tried it again with a line as the alignment and this is the error I got ***Horizontal Alignment must be a LWPolyline*** Be sure the contours you are using have an elevation (Z-coordinate). One warning though, it seemed to not reset the EDGEMODE variable back to 0, and then afterwards, TRIM and EXTEND choose imaginary extensions of the cutting or boundary edge Check EDGEMODE :wink: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I haven't tried the lisp routine but judging from its name I'm assuming that a person can derive a cross-section cut through a series of contours. Do you know how to run a lisp routine? This is how the maker of the lisp program describes it: "A Visual Lisp Routine that creates a section profile of the terrain based on the existing contours." To run the program type the letters qp at the command line then press Enter. Follow the command line prompts. Keep in mind that when you are done you may have to reset Edgemode. Thanks really belongs to the person who took the time and effort that went into writing the lisp routine. Well anyways, your problem seems to have been solved and that's the main point. By the way, in the future you should really start a new thread and not add your question to a pre-existing thread. That way more people are apt to see it and respond.
