angela@TAG
Is it possible to add fonts in autocad. The font I want to add is Tekton and it is a true type font. If this is possible, how do I proceed? I am using AutoCad Architecture 2009.
ReMark
True Type fonts aren't actually added to AutoCAD as it uses .shx fonts. They are added to the Windows font folder.
hotrodz0321
Ive downloaded fonts (true type) before and installed them on my computer. When im editing my text and the MTEXT dialog box is open I can choose that font style and use it as my text. Like previously mentioned, you arent actually installing it in autocad but once you install it on your computer you should be able to use that font in all of your programs.
