skipsophrenic
Hi all, I'v been asked to generate some sections off a dwg that was done in one of the vertical products as a 3d drg. When i first open it i get this error message: . So i click OK, thinkin a little bit of info will be lost, but instead when the drawing opens it's in 2d, and all the 3d data has gone! I can solve this by moving each point individually to the appropriate locations - but there are over 100 of them. I was wondering if there is A) A way to open the drawing KEEPING the 3d info, or B) a shotrcut to get the points to where they need to be. (Each point has a peice of MTEXT next to it indicationg it's level.)
rustysilo
Find out which product the file was saved with and install the object enablers for that product. OR Ask the person who created it to perform an "Export to AutoCAD" function so the objects are more accessible to you.
