I have set up a few custom properties and linked them to fields in my title block. I was hoping to be able to update the title blocks drawing status without opeing the drawing in this manner. I have tried it and it works fine modify the drawing properties within the drawing but when i try to do this without opening the drawing the properties are locked? Thanks for any help, col. I will have a look at vba, it would have been so much easier if the propeties were editable externally! thanks for the confirmation.
