I have several 3D solids that need converting to wireframe mesh, so that I can import them into Datamine Studios, if anyone knows the best way to do this, It would be much appriciated! If you want to convert solid to mesh,normally you can use "3dsout"(output file) and 3dsin(insert 3ds file).Further more good result,you may need "autolisp" file. papagyi Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 I means 3dsout and 3dsin commands for you can change 3dsolid to mesh.If you will use "3dsout",this means to change solid to mesh.Then you can import with "3dsin" to get your 3dsout file with mesh model.
