NoelStalker
We work a lot with paperspace. Typically we will have one isometric view. Sometimes I like to add notes or leader lines or dimensions in the isometric views (standard southwest, northeast, etc). I usually can figure out what the angles are at by rotating the ucs on the y 90 degrees and then on the x 45 degrees or whatever it takes to get it back to x,y,z at 0 deg so I can make my notes appear normal. However, sometimes I just can't figure out what the angles are at to bring it back to a default ucs. If I go to world ucs it will revert to isometric because I am in an iso view. Is there any way to find out exactly what angles the axes are at?
Patrick Hughes
By making your notes "appear normal" I understand you to mean they are not oblique? If that is the case and you want your notes to be "flat" use the UCS "View" option or try UCS "Object" which allows you to select a line for UCS alignment. NoelStalker
Patrick, That is wonderful information. I did not know it was so simple. Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to my question. Have a great day! Sincerely, Noel Stalker
