A1DWG
Hi All, I have been asked to install AutoCAD LT2008 on an additional pc (we have the spare licience) but the pc's aren't the latest spec. PC1 is 2.02GB processor with 448MB RAM. PC2 is 1.46GB Processor with 512MB RAM. Could anyone suggest the best one for LT2008 (Autodesk recommend 2.2GB Processor and 512MB RAM)? Many Thanks. Hedgehog
Probably go for the 2.02ghz (not GB) one & buy some more RAM for it... it's so cheap these days for a couple of gig (cheaper than a decent mouse).
A1DWG
Thanks Hedgehog, not enough caffine to notice the GB / Ghz mistake this morning. You can buy a decent mouse too? I must let my boss know
ReMark
Is there a dedicated graphics card on either one of these computers? If so, what is the make/model?
A1DWG
You can get dedicated graphics cards too? I thought that was just a dream. Sorry all for my sarcasm, I've just spent 3 days coaxing pcs with Windows 95 in to life to retrieve lost drawings... One pc was so fast it had a 133mhz processor and 16Mb ram... Also found a full set of 5-1/4" diskettes to install DOS, soon to be on e-bay.
