Thanks Guys! -Steve Huseman Your version of AutoCAD has everything that AutoCAD 2006 has. The only thing that would be different would be Rendering/3D tools and there isn't a CUI in 2006. Or maybe there was? I dunno. Anyways, what does the contest cover? Do you have an outline? And there won't be an available AutoCAD 2006 from Autodesk so you'll definitely have to get it from someone who has a disc.
CADMASTER1128
I Know AutoCAD 2008 will hav the same user interface, but I also know that some of the feature may change I just want to get practice. Here is the "jist" of the contest, this is exactly from the rules sheet we get before we compete! ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTING Technical Standards Pupose The purpose is to evaluate each contestant’s preparation for employment and to recognize outstanding students for excellence and professionalism in the field of architectural drafting. Knowledge Performance The contest will include a written knowledge test assessing general knowledge of architecture. Written portions may also exist during the skills portion of the contest. Knowledge of terms and principles used in the architecture profession will be required for the skill demonstration portion of the contest. Skill Performance The contest will assess skill performance by providing a hand sketch and computer generated problem that may be solved using either board drafting or CAD. And I do have the contest, would you like me to send you a copy? Just PM me you e-mail if you do!!
Noahma
It will be very hard to find, Autocad 2006 is now a discontinued product, after 3 years they are gone forever.

tzframpton
After quickly reviewing the outline, there should be NO problems whatsoever. Don't worry about not having 2006.
