Rock8104
We are trying to get out line types to show up in our Telephone drawings. The problem is that the words in the line type will not show up since it is considered to be a 3D poly line and there are enought vertex's to make it too small to fit in a single space. The Command "plinegen" will make the letters show up in an continuous 2d polyline that has lots of vertex's but since we have a 3d polyline and a lot of vertex's the linetype gets lost only leaving the original color but without the description. Any Ideas? These are surveyed Lines so they need to keep the Elevation.
David Bethel
I didn't think that 3DPOLYINEs displayed Linetypes. -David
Doove
they don't, they are in fact a pain. they won't section either. You'll need to convert each planar segment to a 2d poly. search for lisp routines to do this, there are quite a few for messing around with 3D polys. good luck.
