run2kdjhm
I'm currently using inventor 2009. if i click the line tool and draw a simple triangle and try to extrude it wont let me. if a square is drawn with the rectangle tool it works fine. It looks as if my snap is not working. how do i fix that? i can get it to work if i use the constraint (coincident) tool. but that takes forever. shoulednt it automatically appply a coincident constraint if i draw a line and connect it to the endpoint of another line? when i go to connect my lines i do not see a green dot i just see a yellow dot. any help would be greatly appreciated! MarkFlayler
There are a couple of toggles in the Inventor Standard toolbar, constraint inference and constraint persistence; you probably have them off and don't know it. This is an advanced option for users that don't want certain constraints to be created automatically while sketching, but turning it off completely means you create no constraints when you sketch normally.
