qball
I recently discovered that you can select a group of objects and left click, hold the button down and move the objects around the screen. I think many already know this, however new to me. I don't think you can move to any specific point like units or osnaps. Also, if you grab and drag objects from one screen to the other (if you have dual monitors) it copies the object instead of moving it. Pickfirst variable to be set to 1. and, left Click then hold control and it copies the object within the screen. I think right click might copy as well, but my right click is "enter", not default. JerryG
Thats interesting. I think you are just using the copy command though. What does your Command bar say when you left click?
qball
it says nothing. try it. it's uber sweet.
JerryG
I tried it and got nothing? Ahh - I tried it again and it does work. But I had to make sure that I was over the line/object. It wont work if you just click in open space. A little faster than the move command. Thanks!
qball
yeah, faster than the move command, but inaccurate as far as I know.

ruly_ok
It's new to me. And really helpfull if you just want to copy or move some objects not with exact position.
alanjt
it's really useful if you want to make a quick anon. block out of a few things (insertion point irrelevant) to move things around and explode.
Tankman
Just tried it too, pretty neat. I just gave it a try, very nice. Saved a little time too!
