Bruce G Jackson Posted June 6, 2009 Share Posted June 6, 2009 Can someone please give me a rundown on the difference between the UCS and BASE command, as they relate to XREF'S? Also, I'm dealing with various disciplines, all using the same floor plan. I'm xref'ing the floor plans. So far so good, it seems the floor plans are ending up on the current layer, not the original xref layer. Anyone have any thoughts on that? chelsea1307 Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 when bringing in an xref it will automatically be set to the current layer, like a block everything becomes one layer even if it was created on multiple layers in the layer property dialog box you can see the original layers and freeze or change colors as necissary.
