29xthefun
Hey People, A few times now I have emailed a DWG to someone to find they can't open it. Also the file seems to lose most of its size. I.e. it was a 300k DWG and when I send it via e mail the person at the other side says its only 1K. I am useing Thunderbird for mailing. Cheers for any help. fuccaro
Does AutoCAd 2008 have ETRANSMITT? If so, you should use it. It is a tool specially created for sending drawings by e-mail
29xthefun
Yeah I have used that to make a zip file but the person at the other end cant open it. I may be a problem with Thunderbird but I have sent the e mail to myself and it does the same.
Cad64
It could be a problem with the recipients mail service blocking incoming files. They may need to check their security settings to allow certain file types.
