tomsturch
I've checked previous threads to figure this out and "dcprops" is not an operative command in 2008. Can anyone tell me how to set my variables to get double-click properties with Cntrl Z close and text editing (version 2008 )? Thanks in advance for your help. ReMark
Try Tools > Options > User Preferences. Double-click editing or right-click customization...one of the two ought to do it for you.
dbroada
I think the previous properties screen has been removed from 2008 and is replaced by a "palette" style properties box, which is instigated by the "properties" command.
tomsturch
Thanks boys. Is there a speed key to close the properties menu? Control Z is undo now? Thanks.
ReMark
A speed key? Yes, Ctrl+Z = Undo. Do you want to change that to Close instead? You'll have to edit the CUI.
dbroada
I just leave it docked on the side of my screen and let it autohide
