Red333 Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 I'm new to sketchup and have been trying to import dwg files that contain AEC objects (walls, windows, doors, etc.) But these objects will not come in. f700es Posted August 3, 2009 Share Posted August 3, 2009 Last time I tried SU would not see AEC objects. You will need to export your ADT drawing to an AutoCAD drawing. f700es Posted August 12, 2009 Share Posted August 12, 2009 Yes but you will either need the Pro version of SU or as I recently discovered you can use the free version of DoubleCAD XT which will open a .skp file and you can then save as a .dwg!!
