goosebite
For starters hello, I just signed up for this site a few moments ago and I have a question for some of you more experienced draftsmen that hopefully has an answer. I created a series of material flow layers on a plant layout. I also created a series of paper space layouts for each layer and froze all unwanted layers. My problem lies in that these are on a working plant layout therefore these layers will stay off a good portion of the time. Unfortunately, it seems once I turn the layer off it appears off in its respected paper space. Is there any way that I can lock a layer "on" within a paperspace viewport and shut it "off" in the model space? Thanks, David
ReMark
In my opinion one must keep the layers on in model space and control their "viewability" (on/off) within the paper space viewport.
chelsea1307
you could try layer filters for when your working in model space, have one that has the layers turned off and one the has them on, maybe make a macro that switches to the on one before plotting
