Shibuboss
Hello everybody, Is it possible to trim the block? I used the " BTRIM" command in cad2009.it's not working. Any Idea? Thanks in advance. Regards_______
ReMark
BTRIM, by definition, trims to objects nested in blocks and external references. I don't see any mention of trimming the block itself. That's why it isn't working. Do you now understand what BTRIM does?
Tiger
I would A) explode the block and then trim it, or B) use BEDIT to acess the block editor and then trim the block (I believe it's possible to save the block to a new block then so to not change the original block) or C) find the actual block-DWG and edit the block there. dbroada
I would A) explode the block and then trim it, or I find I very rarely explode blocks these days. BEDIT or REFEDIT is usually much more appropriate. However these do redefine the block so all instances of that block are redefined so you may have to explode (or use a wipeout)
