Edit Dynamic Block using VBA

I've got a dynamic block of a line with some text attributes. I want to create a VBA script which inserts the block at a certain point (which works, this is the easy part), changes the attributes of the block (ie. change the text) and moves the endpoint of the line to a specific point. I can see the attributes in the properties of the block, but I can't seem to access them (blockRefObj.HasAttributes = False). The second problem is the placement of the end point of the line, the only accessible coordinate of the block seems to be the insertionpoint...
