FrankPB
Hi Everyone My first query this, I've looked in FAQ but not seen anything so hope I am not being a nuisance. Am using Autocad R2008 which was running great until today when I lost the ability to enter typed commands at the command line. eg z(for zoom) followed by return results in unknown command message. Not all commands are affected ie. u for undo etc works ok. Commands picked from the screen menus remain unaffected. This loss has occured since I deleted the first line of my file support path in error. I have since reinstated this but the problem persists. I tend to use the typed commands a great deal Can anyone suggest what I might try to avoid having to reinstall autocad. Thanks Frank
NBC
Try typing REINIT, and then select PGP File
lpseifert
Sounds like issues with your acad.pgp file. Enter Aliasedit or (findfile acad.pgp) at the command line and see if Acad finds the file. If not, be sure that the acad.pgp file is in the support path.
