Insert Excel into an AutoCad session

Hi all!

I have to design a piece and several dimensions results from an optimizing problem. In the meantime I have integrated Lindo Lingo v11 using a suitable VBA code. But the Lingo optimizing engine do not satisfies any more.

That's why I intend to use the more robust Solver engines. Because I don't have a Solver SDK product, I'm forced to use the Premium Solver Excel API. For this reason I must integrate an invisible Excel app. into my AutoCad current session. The integration is quite simple and the optimizing problem runs excellent how long I use standard Excel functions. Unfortunately, I need some Excel user functions.

The way I know for this is to prepare an Excel file with a suitable VBA Excel code that defines my functions and to open it. But I prefer to create an blank Excel application into my AutoCAd session.

I want to define some Excel user functions inside AutoCad VBA code and to place them on the cells I need.

The question is : could somebody to guide me in order to solve this integration problem ?

Thank you for reply.

Best regards.
