rosarosa Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 please help me,i just moved to the US and Im doing house I need to convert a metric drawing into imperial,my current drawing is in cm 1m=100cm so should i convert into inch or feet and how do I do all this process,please help!!! Tankman Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 Welcome rosarosa to the forums. 1000 cm x .394 = 394 inches. 394" / 12 = 32.833 feet. Scale the entire cm drawing x .394, you'll get inches. I frequently convert inches to mm for clients outside of the US. Not a big deal. Dipali Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 open a blank drawing. go to tools>options>user preference> & under 'insertion scale', set 'source content unit' to 'cm' & 'target drawing unit' to 'inches'.
