WagglyFawn
Can someone please tell me a way to change isometric views while modeling? There's only ONE standard iso view, but I want to be able to switch between SW, NW, NE, & SE iso views just like you can in inventor (something like the viewcube sure would be nice). Also, when adding views to drawings, how do I make a custom drawing view right on the spot? Please don't tell me I have to make all the views in the part file... This is all in Solidworks 2010
WagglyFawn
Is this a stupid question or does Solidworks seriously not have this functionality?
shift1313
The projected views off your base model. Do they not fit what you are trying to do? There is a box below the views where you can do Current View. If you have your part or assembly file open, you can rotate the model and use this view in the drawing. I typically work with the projected views, depending on where you drag the view it gives you what you want.
