salmonrose
I started a new drawing. Then copy a text (not mtext) from an existing drawing using Ctrl+C and paste the text to my new drawing with Ctrl+P. Nothing shows up and I've checked that all my layers are ON and THAW. So I did a zoom extend (ze) and select all. The following is what I got. Command: select Select objects: all 3 found 2 were not in current space. What does that mean? Thanks. Note: my company uses its own template so that all new drawings have all the layers we need. The existing drawing was created with an older version of our template and therefore, some layers are missing. I'm not sure if this makes my text "disappeared". ScribbleJ
If you were in paperspace then the other 2 selected that were not in current space would be in model space and vice versa. If you dont want to select everything then use Ctrl+A which will select only what is in the current space.
