YachtyKev
I've been given a company logo in .dxf format. I now have it stored in Inventor10 as an .idw file. I want to create a 3D image from it, how do I do this? Cheers, Kevin
JD Mather
Put it into an ipt file instead of idw file.
YachtyKev
This image was originally sent to me as a dxf file, I stripped it of all un-neccessary detail and it was saved by default as an idw file. My lack of knowledge is showing here as I'm not sure how to save the idw file as an ipt file given the options in the 'Save as' dialogue box. kencaz
If you don't have the .dxf any longer you can save out, (save copy as...), your idw to autocad .dwg and import it into a new, (.ipt) Inventor sketch. KC
