Transparent Hatching with Polygons and SDF Files

Im quite new to Map 3D and been trying to play around with transparent hatching over OS maps.

I've drawn a polygon.

Exported as an SDF.

Imported through the task pane.

And then when editing in style manager I set up properties to include the transparent fill and for some reason nothing happens?

I can edit the line style for the polygon but no fill appears even though I one in the preview?

Is there a checkbox somewhere I've not hit?

Thanks

Map 3D 2011 will allow transparency of layers and entities. Until you upgrade, you may be able to use some third party add-on.

Hi Derek, it should be quite straight forward.

What are you seeing, can you see a solid fill or is the region completly transparent?

If you are sure the data polygons (and not closed polylines), check that solid fill is selected.
