Fanden
I've been wondering a while about X-refs, when i use x-ref to import a drawing into a finished layout, all the layers change names. If the original drawing was named test.dwg, and i x-ref that drawing into a different drawing, and bind it there, the layer name (example: layer named - 1) will be test|1 It's a hassle to go over each and every layer just to remove the "test|" part of its name, especially when dealing with larger drawings with 60+ layers. Is there a way to make AutoCAD not rename these x-ref'ed layers?
