in2light
Autocad 2008. Have several layout tabs in Paper Space, each has their own viewports with specific layers frozen & thawed. ("VPFREEZE" column in Layer Prop Mgr) so that each viewport has it's own unique "Layer States" setting. Used LMAN to create settings for each one. When in Model Space, if any other LMAN setting is used, the viewports do not retain their unique layer settings. I've made sure that the "viewport overrides" is not checked. Essentially, each time the drawing's layer settings are changed in either model space or even in separate layout tabs, I have to manually go back to each layout tabs' viewports and re-set Layer settings before each plot. Very cumbersome. HELP! How can I lock the unique Layer Settings assigned to each viewport?
lpseifert
Look here for Loswitch.dvb http://www.dotsoft.com/freestuff.htm It will switch Layerstates per Layouts, not viewports...
