David Bethel
Finding an INSERT with a specified BLOCK name is pretty easy. (ssget "X" (list (cons 2 "block_name"))) You would then have to step thru the selection set and extract the insertion points and could feasibly zoom to the insertion point, assuming that the nested geometry is visible from that point. Searching by ATTRIBute tag names is more difficult. You have to step through each INSERTs definition, searching for the specified tag name and then try to zoom in on it. Look at the bottom of this page for similar threads. I would thin k they ave some pertinent information. -David
alanjt
I feel like this has been done before. Didn't you and Lee writing something that would do this?
