rahulchandy
Hi I am using AutoCAD 2008 Civil 3D. The drawing is associated with a project (test 1). I am trying to create a profile from an alignment (align 1). I have the Topo and drew the alignment. I went to terain moble elplorer and created the surface and built it. But when I go to the profile tab and try to create the full profile, it gives me the following error msg- " No sampled data found for roadway " I have opened up the drawing on a different computer and it creates the profile with no problem. I dont know why it does not want to create it on the first computer. Any ideas?? Thanks
civil_graham
It sounds like you are using Civil 3D Land Desktop Companion and not AutoCAD Civil 3D, there is a big difference in the way these two programs create and manage profiles. It sounds like you are needing to sample the surface data when you create your profile. Before you create the full profile you must sample your surface. Under the Profiles Drop Down -> Existing Ground -> Sample From Surface. After that you should be able to create your full profile.
