Tankman
I learn something every day when I visit CadTutor forums! Converted, not a great job, the *.pdf to a *.dwg. Take a peek-a-boo. The conversion had 'bout 20 *.tif's included. Removed 'em. You can see how the text gets jumbled, awful. And more than likely, exploded; i.e.: a 'T' becomes two lines. I usually redo text and lots more too! Scale the views as required. Perhaps this'll get you started. DOC.M%20ROOM%20LAYOUTS[1].dwg
Tankman
Thanks for the info daft vader. Cleaned up Doc. M, just a little bit. Then time permitting just a bit more. Useful in the US of A too! Be sure to REGENALL if you open the drawing. I used '07 but, always save to 2000 for clients and/or posting so most all can open the file. Have fun. Hope the conversion is some use to all. Tankman
Nice one Tankman. How was that done? Did you trace over it? Converted the *.pdf to a *.dxf file. As you could see, lots of stuff gets ugly. Soooooooooo........you start cleaning the drawing up; i.e.: start with scale. Goofing off, I thought all would best fit in a portrait title block. Second drawing I posted. At times, tired of waitin' for a *.dwg file, I convert *.pdf. With a good *.pdf program, you can crop various files, convert 'em to AutoCAD *.dxf, save as a *.dwg. Kind of like a copy 'n paste routine. **Note** 1st image attached was cropped 'n sized for posting from the *.pdf I generated. This *.pdf didn't break down (or up) too badly. Be sure to look at the *.dwg file attached too! Hope the *.dwg file is useful this Sunday morning! Your file can be printed to a *.pdf, the *.pdf can be saved as almost any file type you like. The attachments here are seriously downsized (for posting) *.jpg's files of the drawing. I use Adobe Pro 8. DOC-M-Daft_Vader.dwg
