berol
Using Autocad 2000 LT. I'm drawing a grid system of 2' squares and would like to solid color the entire background of some squares with different colors.
ReMark
How many squares are there in total? How many will be colored? Have you considered using different layers for the colors?
berol
How many squares are there in total? How many will be colored? Have you considered using different layers for the colors? There are about 80 squares, using five different colors, that need to be colored out of about 400. I plan to use a different layer for each color but can not figure out how to color each square. I see how to color a line or an object but not how to color the entire background of an individual square. Thanks for the help.
lpseifert
Try Hatch with a solid pattern (if available in 2000 LT) or... the Solid command; draw the square in a 'bowtie' pattern or... a Polyline with a width
