gbelous
I am trying to do a corridor rendering in Autocad Architecture 2009 and when I apply the rendered material of acoustical ceiling tile from the content browser, it appears visually fine, but the 2x2 grid isn't centered in the corridor. I attached the material to a 3d solid (extruded polyline), but the material itself can't be shifted so it is centered on the corridor. Is there any way to fix this or is this just a drawback of renderings in autocad?
sevdo2000
If I've understood ... you can use material mapping to adjust fine matterials.
gbelous
How do I use that? I did a search in the cad help box but nothing comes up in regards to what I'm looking for.
MikeScott
Material Mapping is correct. "SETUV" is the command to make those kinds of adjustments. AutoCAD actually starts figuring out the tiling of an object based on it's relative position to "0". If you want the crossbars in a specific position, you'll have to add or subtract from the UV position values. If you relocate that object, you'll need to fine-tune the mapping again.
