vertical horizons
I see the scale command when I am in 'sketch' mode. But is it possible to scale something that is an .IAM?
kencaz
You can edit sketches within assemblies and use 3D Grips to resize features, however, I personally would avoid scaling in general as it will mess up your constrained object and just mess things up in general. Best to just edit your sketches (in the .ipt) properly with appropriate dimensional constraints which will be reflected in your assembly properly. linnmaster
Hi. Never tried scaling a .iam directly. The way I would do it would be to derive the entire assembly, and scale the derived parts. It shouldn't mess up constraints. If it does, then it's not scaling in proportion (I think).
