nukecad
Not sure about keyboards, it depends which one suits you and which one you like, At the moment I am using a wireless mouse and keyboard which is black with white lettering; it looks cool but its a pain trying to find the keys when your fingers dont fly on their own. Best mouse I have used was an ATECH 5 button jobbie. Left and Right click of course, 2 scroll wheels for fast or slow, and a thumb button for pan or zoom depending on what comand you were using. In the end you have to try a few different ones and see what suits youself best. The cost of a new mouse / keyboard is not that much compared to a PC amd all the programes you want install, so try a few different ones. If you are on a budget, as we all are from time to time, then borrow from your friends until you find a steup that you like.
Tankman
Go for wireless. I use Logitech wireless keyboard(s) and mouse(s). Have the center button on the mouse, hold down 'n pan. Will never go back to wired!
