intogtar
Hi all! How I can "scale" some detail without changing it dimensions? I know how it could be done in Layout windows by creating new viewports and zooming details in viewports windows. Could it be done in Model space like in pictures I have added? In picture number 2 is exactly what I need, detail zoomed circle with old dimensions. P.S. There is catted and zoomed detail at the bottom P.P.S. There is also something with .jpeg image saving in Paint, when colors magically disappear somewhere .... must to be Microsoft Thank you! dbroada
you need to set up another dimension style that has the appropriate scale factor enabled.

Can you please describe under what tab in Dimension style menu this option is located? Thank you!
dbroada
not for 2010 I can't. In 2080 it is the "measurement scale" on the Primary Units tab.

It's actually the same in 2010 I have scaled my detail for example 1:2 and I type there 0.5. What about if I've done 1:3, would it be 1/3=0.333333333? Should it be counted all the time like I did or is there any different way for example to type there 3:1 or something? P.S. Don't want to flood on this board so I'll post another question in the same thread. How this "CUT" (D and H) could be done is there special tool somewhere? Thank you very much for helping me!
