Denial27
I am not finding a lot of information on this subject. My company is getting to a point where it is going to need to upgrade. We are considering our options, and one of them was to use our server as a licence manager to deal out the licences as and when they are needed. I wanted to learn a bit more about this, and also what autocad products were compatible.
Tiger
Network licenses are fairly common I think, we have two big servers with licenses, almost never had any trouble with running out of licenses or anything. Also we use FlexLM to monitor the license usage. The easiest way for you in my opinion is to talk to resellers of Autodesks products, at least a couple different ones and see what kind of solutions they cand recommend/can provide. ReMark
Your authorized AutoDesk reseller should have enough information to get you started. You can also search on the word "Flexnet" at the AutoDesk website where you'll find a number of articles. Check out the AUGI forums, AutoDesk Discussion forums, and the AutoDesk Exchange re: network deployments.
