poybenp
I am using Acad 2005 and when I plot the lines remain in color.
Dana W
I guess you have to express whether or not that is a bad thing. Are you plotting from modelspace or a paperspace layout? Are you using a plotstyle definition (*.ctb)? If you are, then change it to monochrome.ctb, or if you are not, then do so, and make sure your layout is using the 'plot with plotstyle' option turned on. BIGAL
We have multiple ctb's to suit the situation laser mono, laser colour, plotter mono & colour the plotter having thicker line type weights compared to the laser printer also a tiff.ctb. Now we have a A3 colour laser we have moved towards all plans in colour. Our setup is pretty simple based around the ISO pens colour 1-9 are mono 10-251 are colour 252-256 are grey. Some custom colour ctb are used to tweak a presentation drawing playing with colour densities.
poybenp
It shows that I am missing the .ctb file. Where would I find this file? Is it with my plotter driver?
Dana W
Monochrome.ctb is one of several plot style files included with AutoCAD. If that is the one missing you'll have to get it off your install disk. You also will get color from a monochrome plot style, if you are using RGB colors instead of the 255 ACI colors, according to AutoDesk. The monochrome plot style does not know how to turn RGB colors black.
BIGAL
If you have altered the default search paths then you may need to reset them to look in the correct location. Start by searching for *.ctb then do the following Config Files Printersupportfilepath then change plotstyletablesearchpath to the found directory. Else just create a new ctb and set it up the way you want Was going to post you our color laser CTB but having problems with new attachment method
